Who can create content using Playbuzz?

Everyone. All you have to do is set yourself up with a free Playbuzz account by clicking here.

How much does it cost to create a Playbuzz item

You can create, embed items on your website and play as much as you like. For commercial or promotional purposes, or to buy ad space, please contact us.

How many content items can I create with Playbuzz?

As many as you like. Some authors create a Playbuzz item once a week, while others create 10 content items a day. We highly recommend creating many different items, in order to really understand your audience and get better at creating. Go on and get started!

How do I open a Playbuzz account?

It takes just a minute! Simply click on the “create” button on the top right corner of every page on Playbuzz.com, and sign up with your social media profile or email address.

How do I add images to items?

Visuals are top priority when creating Playbuzz items, and we offer several ways for you to add images to your content. You can use the Getty Images integration and search the world’s biggest image database, search for images online, or upload your own material. To learn more about the process, click here.

With respect to any content that you upload from the web or from your own images, please make sure that you have all necessary licenses in place and that such content does not infringe or misappropriate any 3rd party rights, as mentioned in our Terms of Use.

How do I edit an item I created?

Your items can be edited and updated by you at any time. Simply go to the items list on your profile and click the chosen item’s “Edit” button. After saving your changes, the item will be automatically updated wherever it is embedded.

How do I delete an item I created?

From your profile page, find the item you’d like to delete and choose “delete” from the drop-down menu. Your item will be deleted from your profile, and anywhere else it is embedded.

TIP: You might want to consider setting your item’s visibility to “only me” instead of deleting it, in case you change your mind in the future.


Can Playbuzz items be created in languages other than English?

In the right-hand column of the Create interface, you can select which language you want your item to appear in. 

Selecting a language has zero impact on the actual content you publish – it doesn’t mean that the text will be automatically translated into your selected language. Rather, this setting controls the language environment in which your flip cards will appear.

Can I translate the text in a Playbuzz item to another language?

You can translate existing items by hovering on the characters icon and clicking “Help translate this item,” located above the ‘“Embed” button at the top of the page. Learn more about the process here.

Please note that after publishing a translated item, credit will be given to the author of the original piece. 

What are the visibility settings for Playbuzz items?

When creating an item on Playbuzz, selecting the “Public” option in the visibility map will permit everyone to see, play, and share your item. This option is highly recommended. “Direct Link Only” allows full access to everyone in the world, but only if the item’s URL is shared with them. Selecting “Only Me” means the item is only available to you, but can still be embedded on any website. To learn more about the different privacy settings, click here

How does Playbuzz integrate with my social media channels?

Playbuzz’s content is optimized for maximum social interaction and sharing, so don’t be surprised if your audience starts to grow in numbers and engagement performance once you start publishing with us. And don’t worry – any time a user clicks on a Playbuzz-powered share button on an item embedded on your site, their social post will link back to your hosted page. 

You can even get a preview of your item’s Facebook appearance using our built-in social appearance feature.

Can I embed any Playbuzz item in my website?

Yes! Simply copy the embed code from the content page and paste it into your site as shown here. We also offer an awesome WordPress plugin that streamlines the curation and embedding process.

Once you’ve decided which item to embed in your site, you can click on the “embed” button next to the social media buttons and paste that code into your site’s content management system. For more customized options, use the checkboxes to determine the style of your embed. For example, you can add or remove Facebook comments and recommendations for more games. Can Playbuzz items be embedded in international websites?

Playbuzz items can be embedded on any website worldwide.

How do I embed a Playbuzz item on my WordPress Site?

In addition to the usual embedding option, you can embed Playbuzz items into your WordPress site with our awesome WordPress Plugin, which enables you to fully integrate the content into your WordPress site.

Does Playbuzz support Facebook Instant Articles and Google AMP?

Can I suggest my items to other websites?

Absolutely! Feel free to embed your item anywhere. If you want to make sure that your item only appears where it’s embedded, choose the “direct link only” visibility option.  

How can I advertise with Playbuzz?

How can I white-label my Playbuzz item?

Playbuzz does not currently offer a white label solution. However, Playbuzz branding on embedded items is limited to the “Powered by Playbuzz” icon at the bottom of the embed.

Can I collect audience members’ personal information or contact details?

Playbuzz does not collect personal data from users and does not support lead generation capabilities. However, you can include links to externally hosted forms in your items, and if you’re embedding an item on your own site, you can include a form next to the embed. How can I get my content on the Playbuzz.com homepage?

Our algorithm takes into account various parameters, such as: trending topics, the author’s overall success record, and more. Promoted items will be featured on the Playbuzz.com homepage, or the “Discover” section for the storytelling element you chose to use (e.g: Poll, Convo, Trivia etc.). We can’t make any promises, but let’s just say that the more you create – the better your chances are to be featured!

In the meantime, you can always share your item on Facebook and Twitter or embed it on your website or blog without waiting for us. To find your item, simply head to your profile page, which you can access by clicking on the avatar icon at the top of any page on Playbuzz.com.
