Brand Partnerships Director - Brazil

About the position

Playbuzz Brasil is searching for a Brand Partnerships Director, to lead our team in Sao Paolo.

The candidate's key mission would be to grow the company's advertising revenues by establishing and leveraging partnerships with the market's leading digital agencies and brands.


Responsibilities: 


  • Create, grow and manage partnerships with Brazil’s top digital advertising agencies and brands

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market brand partnership and sales strategy

  • Communicate the full value proposition and range of opportunities that exist in working with the Playbuzz platform:Native Story TellingContextually relevant video at scale

  • Manage the company's publisher network to increase regional footprint and optimize campaign delivery  

  • Lead the branded content team to ensure cross agencies coverage is maximised 

  • Leverage existing brand/agency partnerships/spend through both proactive thinking and high-quality RFP response

  • Increase activity from lapsed or non-spenders through tailored proactive thinking

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly revenue targets

  • Own pipeline of business and the subsidiary’s P&L 

  • Present to a high standard to both internal and external key stakeholders

  • Feedback all relevant insights, trends, buying behaviours and requirements to the business to ensure that the company's proposition evolves

  • Evangelise the benefits of native storytelling and the contextual relevance of the offering

  • Creative and analytical approach to pitch responses & PCA’s

  • Proactive in pitching media first and creative concepts


Requirements:


  • +7 years selling digital media / ad tech / content solutions to the market's top digital agencies and brands

  • Strong relationships with key Brazilian digital advertising agencies and brands 

  • Proven managerial skills 

  • Strong understanding of the digital media land-scape 

  • Able to converse eloquently around the Native/Video ecosystem, and be able to articulate the benefits of using data to deliver campaigns

  • Ability to develop a pipeline of prospects from standing start

  • Ability to independently identify, analyse, and resolve customer issues effectively

  • Excellent presntation and negotiation skills

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication

  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence the key internal and external partners whose active participation is required to successfully implement our projects

  • Able to perform in a fast-paced, highly changing and nascent marketplace and be driven to meet and exceed targets

  • Delivering with accountability- establishing clear performance expectations and commitments

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and great follow-through

  • Fluent English - a must
